[Per Press Association]. WELLINGTON, December 13. A. R. Geddes, of Otago, won the six | miles Empire Games trial this evening in 31min 2 2-ssec. A. J. Mackay (Wellington) finished second, six yards away, the two having stayed together the whole distance. K. Crompton (Auckland) was labouring alter four miles, but finished a lap behind the others, C. McCalman and J. Riedington (Wellington) retired.
