THE WEATHER
(Per Press Association]. WELLINGTON, December 13. The weather report (based on observations at 15.00 hours on Monday) is as follows:— General situation: Pressure has remained high to the eastward, but is now falling over the Dominion, with the advance of a depression across Tasman Sea. Forecast: Moderate to strong northerly winds, backing to westerly, am. temporarily in places to south-wester-ly- , Seas (N.Z. waters): Rather’ rough to rough south of Cape Egmont: elsewhere, slight to moderate, but rising in the Cook and Foveaux Straits areas. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate (:■ strong northerly to westerly winds, with moderate to rather rough seas. Weather warm and humid, and to the most part cloudy to overcast, with scattered rain in most district.-, but more especially those with a westerly aspect. Thunder is probable m isolated places.
