Notice is hereby given that at the ordinary meeting of the Grey County Council, to be held at the Council Chambers, Gresson Street, Greymouth, at 7.30 o’clock p.m. on THURSDAY, the 13th day of JANUARY, 1938, the following resolution, which was passed by the said Council at a Special Meeting held on the 2nd day of December, 1937, will be submitted for confirmation: — In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by “The Local I Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” and with 'the precedent consent of the Gov-ernor-General in Council as required by “The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926,” the Grey County Council hereby resolves by way of special order as follows:— For the purpose of the acquisition of land and the erection of workers’ dwelling thereon, the Grey County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £620 at £3 per centum per annum, for a period of thirty years.
