The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 23ft 6in. The Kaimiro is discharging cargo from Auckland and will load coal and timber for Auckland and Portland, and is to sail to-morrow. The Huanui is to sail to-night with coal for Foxton. The Waimea is loading timber for Onehunga, and is to sail to-night. After discharge there she will load general cargo for Nelson and Greymouth, being due here on December 7, to again load timber for Onehunga. The Rata arrived yesterday afternoon from Westport, to load for Wanganui, sailing t'o-day. She is to return on Thursday, to load coal for Wellington.

The Hokitika wiis expected to leave Wellington, last night, with cargo for Greymotith and Hokitika, being due here to-morrow.

The Karu is due on Friday, from Wellington, to load timber for Petone Wellington and Miramar. The Kauri is to leave Wellington on Saturday for Greymouth direct and will load timber for Melbourne and Adelaide next Monday morning. The Karepo was to load cargo at Melbourne yesterday for Greymouth via New Zealand p r orts. The Gael is due to-day, from Hokitika, to load another cargo for Jackson’s Bay, on account of the Public Works Department.
