DUKE OF WINDSJR’o NEW TARTAN. LONDON, November 28. The Duke of Windsor is adopting the Bonnie Prince Charlie Tartan, the new kilt, of which is being weaved at Brora, Sutherlandshire. It is a variant of the Royal Stewart, except that the blue and green lines are broader, reducing the red squares on the background. This is traversed by yellow lines, traditionally indicating Royal Scottish descent. Glencoe Massacre Victims BURIAL PLACE DESECRATED. LONDON, November 28. The Clan MacDonald, one of the largest of such organisations, is furiously protesting against the desecration of Saint Mundas Isle, Loch Leven, where the victims of the Glencoe Massacre, 1692, are buried. It is let as a grazing ground for sheep. Three carcases of rams have been buried among the historic graves. The clansmen demand the cessation of such vandalism.
