FORMAN—BROWN.

The wedding too place at St. Patrick’s Church, Greymouth, on Saturday morning, of Bridget Patricia, youngest daughter of the late Mi and Mrs H. Brown, Alexander Street, and Martin Henry, only son of Mr and Mrs H. Forman, of Westport. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father J. Holohan, who also performed the ceremony. The bride, who was escorted by her brother, Mr Michael Brown, wore a simple tunic frock of navy and white crepe de chine, with a picture hat and shoes to tone. The bridesmaid, Mips Molly Brown, sister of the bride, also wore a frock of navy and white crepe de chine, with hat to match. Mr Thomas Brown, brother of the bride, was best man.

The reception was held at the residence of the bride’s aunt, Mrs M. Coumbc, Alexander Street. Mr and Mrs M. H. Forman left for Christchurch, the bride travelling in a navy blue costume with accessories to tone.

Prior to her marriage, Mrs Forman was met by a number of friends at a social evening at Meates, and presented with an electric iron. She was also the recipient of a suitable gut from Mr and Mrs W. H. Ward. . HONEY—BAKER. The marriage was solemnised at St. Patrick’s Church on Saturday morning, of Richard Henry, eldest son of Mr and the late Mrs A. C. Honey, of Paroa, to Doreen Mary, second eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs H. Baker, of Paroa. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father A. C. Gregory, who also performed the ceremony. Miss M. McSherry was the organist. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a frock of pearl tinted satin, cut on classical lines, the panels at the back widening to form a long train. The neckline was softened by cowl folds, and was held in place by two diamante clips. Tiny satin buttons trimmed the back of the bodice, and were matched by similar trimming on the tapered sleeves. A satin girdle defined the waistline. Her long tulle veil was edged with angel skin lace, and was held in place by a halo <>f orange blossom. She carried a sheath of lilies and maiden hair fern. Miss Eileen Baker, sister of the bride, was chief bridesmaid, wearing a frock of pale green georgette, made with full skirt, puffed sleeves, and Peter Pan collar. Buttons trimmed the front of the frock from neckline to hem, and a green velvet bow completed the waistline. Her pale green tulle cap was held in place by a green and silver halo, and she carried a bouquet of pastel coloured flowers.

Miss Joan and Tess Baker were gowned alike in frocks of pale pink crepe-de-chine, made with full flared skirts and puffed sleeves. Silver lame collars and buttons trimmed the bodice. Their pleated halos of pale pink tulle were finished with rosebud trimmings, and their shower bouquets toned with their frocks. The bride’s little nephew Gordon Worsley, made a charming page boy, in a suit of cream satin. Mr Albert Honey, brother of the bridegroom, attended as best man. The reception was held at Herb Moores Cabaret, the bride’s mother receiving the guests wearing a black tailored pin-striped costume, with hat and shoes to tone. Her bouquet was of pink and white roses. The wedding cake, which was made and presented by the bride’s brother-in-law, Mr G. Worsley, was beautifully decorated in pink and white.

Mr and Mrs R. Honey, later left by the express for Christchurch, the bride travelling in a navy tailored costume, and wearing a small navy toque, with eye veil and accessories to tone.

Prior to their. marriage, the couple

were guests at a social evening in the Paroa Hall, tendered oy the Paroa Tennis Club, of which both are members. On. behalf of the club, Mr F. Flaherty presented them with a dainty tea service.
