Sailed 6.30 a.m., Alexander for Greymoutli. NOTES. The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday 21ft 2in. The Kaimiro sailed last evening for Auckland and Pori land. She is expected to return about. August. 28. to again load for Auckland and Portland. The Kaimai arrived yesterday from Wellington, via Westport to complete loading coal for Wellington and Miramar. The Titoki arrived yesterday from Wanganui and is to load coal and timber for Picton. The Alexander left. Tarakohe yesterday with cement for Greymouth, and is due today to load coal for return to Tarakohe.

The Hokitika was expected to leave Wellington last night with cargo for Greymouth and Hokitika. The James Cook is due on August 23, with Australian cargo, and after disccharge, will load timber for Sydney. The Poolta is due about August 23, from Gisborne, to load for Wellington and Miramar. The Karu’s loading has been delayed owing to the timber not coming freely to hand, consequently the vessel cannot sail for Petone, Wellington and Miramar before to-mor-row.
