HOW WAS IT DONE ?

RESTAURANT ROBBERY Proprietor Dazed WELLINGTON MYSTERY. [Per Press Association], WELLINGTON, August 17When the first waitress this morning arrived at “The Cafeteria,” in Woodward Street, she found the door closed, and she knocked loudly for admission, but in vain. She went to another door, and, making her presence felt there, she saw the proprietor, Mr. Vogt, stagger up and open it. She found him very dazed, and bruised severely about the head. Some time after, when he had recovered, Vogt found that his wallet was empty, and that the till had been cleared of cash. He said that he went to the restaurant before 8 o’clock, but he does not know if he fell or was struck. Neither does he know whether the robbery was an affair of that time, or/ occurred before his arrival.
