CANTERBURY TEAM’S VISIT. A Canterbury women’s table tennis team had comfortable wins at Grepmouth and Runanga at the week-end beating West Coast, at Greymouth by 32 games to 13 and Runanga. at Runanga, at Runanga, at 39 games to 6. The following West Coast Table Tennis team will play a return match with Canterbury at Christchurch, next Saturday: W. Grady, V. Rollerson, L. Sharman, B. Tindale, H. Webb, and G. Edwards or J. Burgis. J. Luey, M. Marshall, C. Baddley, Dwan and Will were not available. Arrangements have been finalised by the Australian’ Table Tennis Board of Control and the New Zealand Council for a tour of Australia and New Zealand by two worldfamous Hungarian players, Szabados and Kelen. They will play at Greymouth on Saturday, September IS.
