AJOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Grey Electric-Power Board proposes, at its meeting to be held on the 31st day of August, 1937, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £15,000 for the completion of Reticulation in the Board’s District. The proposed security for such proposed Special Loan is a Special Kate of .0928 pence (decimal nought nine two eight pence) in the £ upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property within the Grey Electric-Power Board’s District. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is cahed upon to submit the same in writing to the Grey Electric-power Board not later than the day preceding the said meeting. ) The loan is proposed to be raised under Section 15 of the Finance Act, 1936, No. 2. Under this section, the loan will be raised by Special Order, unless a poll of ratepayers is demanded, in writing, by at least 5 per centum of the ratepayers in the said Board’s District prior to the confirmation of the Special Resolution to raise the loan by Special Order.
