PLANES ON LOAN

ALLOCATIONS MADE. WELLINGTON, August 12. Proposals for the allocation of Government loan aircraft to aero clubs was announced last evening by the Minister in Charge of the Air Department, the Hon. F. Jones. He explained the conditions under which lhe machines were to be offered by the Government, Io the Auckland, Otago, Wellington and Canterbury Aero Clubs, and announced that the Government was prepared to order immediately four machines for free issue to the Middle Districts, West Coast United, Hawke's Bay, and Western Federated Aero Clubs. Two machines which are duo to arrive in the Dominion within lhe next lew days

are to be offered to Auckland and Otago Clubs said Mr Jones, while two machines arriving later are to be offered to the Wellington and Canterbury Clubs. Each club will be required to pay the Government the net cost of the machines. . Four machines will be offered free of costs to the other clubs but will be of the Tiger Moth or similar type.
