MINEFIELD FORCE
BRITISH CALL FOR RECRUITS. fAust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received August 13, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, August 13. The Admiralty is seeking recruits for a new minefield force, to serve in home waters and on foreign stations. British electrical devices are considered to be so perfect that no enemy ships passing over a controlled minefield could escape destruction.
