REEFTON SUB-ASSN-The following players will represent Reefton in a match against the Westport team at Westport to-mor-row: Goal, A. Coghlan. D. Gilmore, A. O’Flaherty; centre, E. Bartlett, I. Rollerson, C. Panckhurst; defence, D. Patterson, C. Patterson, J. Rollerson; emergencies, G. Crossman, E. Williams, N. O’Flaherty. The car will leave the school at 1 p.m. The following is the Old Girls B team to play Ahaura and Ikamatua to-morrow: Goal, G. Osborne, A. Pal* mer, G. Cleaver; centre, E. Cook, B. Quinn, E. Henry (emergency, I. Cleaver); defence, D. Cleaver, J. McMahon, M. Hayes. Cars will leave the “Times” Office at 1 p.m. At a meeting of the Sub-Association, it was reported that out of five Reefton players taking part in the Possibles v. Probables match at Greymouth, Miss C. Patterson had been selected as' a member of the West Coast team to take part m the Dominion tournament in Auckland during the first week in September. A letter from the West Coast secretary stated that practices would be held in Greymouth every Monday and Thursday night until the departure of the team. It was decided that, if possible, arrangement would be made so that the Reefton player could attend all these practices. It was decided to hold a dance in the band room on Friday, August 20, to celebrate the first inclusion of a Reefton player in a West Coast team. The basketball girls will each bring a plate, as supper will be given. , . The club competition is nearing its conclusion. All games must be played by to-morrow. The Crossman Cup tournament will be held on Saturday, September 11, and trophies won during the season will be presented at the dance to be held in the evening.
