C.I.O. CAMPAIGN
TEXTILE STRIKE CALLED. [Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] NEW YORK, August 10. The effort of the Committee for Industrial Organisation at large scale organisation of another important industry occurred with a call for a strike by the textile workers. The union called out 30,000 workers from the silk and rayon industries in several States. Their principal demands are for recognition.
