SYDNEY, August 3. , The fact that at the week-end ant other £6500 came from the Queensland Golden Casket to New South Wales again denionstrated that money in this State, which should be going into the State Lottery for the upkeep of financially-embarrassed hospitals, is being diverted elsewhere because of the failure of the Government to make its own consultation sufficently attractive to keep me money here. The New South Wales ■ Hospitals Commission is agitating for a £1,000,000 lottery in connection with the 150th anniversary celebrations, but unless the Government changes 1 its present attitude of indifference the agitation of the association is doomed to failure.
