76 CHARGES AGAINST MOTORISTS IPer Press Association]. HASTINGS, August 11. Fines totalling £4O, with costs amounting to more than £37, were imposed in the Magistrate’s Court at Hastings to-day, when 76 charges against motorists were brought. Ten traffic inspectors appeared to give evidence in the cases, most of which were charges of failing to obtain a driver’s license.
SEXUAL OFFENDER. INVERCARGILL, August 12. Robert Fowler, found guilty on two charges of incest, was sentenced to three years and six months hard labour by Judge Kennedy, who remarked that it was a bad case.
