The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 24ft Bin. The Omana is loading' timber for Melbourne and Adelaide, and sails to-day. i The Hokitika, which arrived from Wellington on Monday evening, sailed last evening for Hokitika and Bruce Bay. The Titoki arrived from Nelson yesterday'afternoon to load coal and poles for New Plymouth and Wanganui. She sails to-day. The Karu, after loading coal for Wellington, sailed last evening. She is to return here abotit Saturday, to load timber for Wellington and Miramar.

The Kaimiro was to leave Wellington at eight o’clock last evening, and loads here to-morrow morning for Auckland and Portland. The James Cook left Sydney last week, with cargo for New Zealand ports, and is due at Greymouth on August 23, to load timber for Sydney. The Kalingo is expected to load timber for Sydney at Greymouth about Monday next. The Kaimai is due about next Tuesday from Westport to complete loading coal for Wellington and Miramar. The Gael was to leave Wellington yesterday with general cargo for Greymouth and Hokitika.
