(Received August 10, 7.30 p.m.) OTTAWA, August 9. The Bureau 1 Canadian of Statistics estimates the Fall wheat crop at 17,248,000 bushels compared with 12,478,000 bushels last year. The estimate for the Spring crop is not completed, but the lowest yield for thirty years is forecast.

STANDARD INSURANCE CO. DIVIDEND. DUNEDIN, August 10. The directors of the Standard Insurance Co. recommend the payment of a dividend for the year at the rate of Is 3d per share, and to carry forward to next year 119,931 12s Bd.
