HIGHEST ON RECORD
WORLD'S INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT. FOR FIRST HALF OF 1937. (Received August 10, 7.10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, August 9. The Bureau of Agriculture Economics has announced that the world industrial production for the first six months of 1937 was the highest in history. This is attributed, chiefly, to the armaments activity in tho United Kingdom, in Germany and in Japan. _
