NEW ZEALAND’S DAY
/ Four Sporting Tests CRICKET, HOCKEY, RUGBY AND RUGBY LEAGUE. Augut 14th, 1937, has been booked for four great tests by New Zealand youth in the sporting world and all against worthy opponents. At Carlaw Park the Kangaroos, on the eve of leaving for England and France, will meet the Dominion’s best thirteen in a gigantic struggle for supremacy. At Wellington the famous Springboks will try conclusions in the first Test with the All Blacks. In Australia at Sydney the New Zealand hockey team will play an All-Australia team. And in far away' England our cricketers will be at Lords against England’s eleven. N.Z. v. Kanaroos (Rugby' League). N.Z. v. Springboks (Rugby Union). N.Z. v. England (Cricket). N.Z. v. Australia (Hockey). What a list, and may little New Zealand have a very successful day.
