At the monthly meeting of the Runanga Sub-Branch of the Plunket Society, there were present Mesdames Timlin (chair), Oakley, Rae, Cooper, Flood, Duffy, Anderson and Dale. Apologies were received from Mesdames Farquhar and Dickel. Mrs. Timlin gave a very interesting report on the Provincial Plunket Conference held recently at Christchurch. It has been decided to hold the Plunket ball on September 3rd. The Nurse’s report for June was as follows: Visits to Branch 4; visits to homes, 28; visits to rooms —cases— Adults 31, babes 20, older children 12; total 63. New cases for month; Nil. Number under supervision, 29. There were two very wet days the .month. .
