U.S. Freighter Sinks IN MARSHALL GROUP. BRISBANE. Afareh 27. A message received by the sub. Collector of Customs at Townsville stated that the American freighter “Fijian,” in which an explosion occurred the day before, haul' sunk near Yaruto, a small island! in the Afafshull Group.
