A Melbourne cable records the death of Doctor John Anderson Gilruth, Chief of the Division of Animal Health of the Commonwealth Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. He was 66 years of age. Dr. Gilruth was formerly in the New Zealand defence Department. Later he became Administrator of the Northern Territory of Australia.
