NOTES The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 23ft 6in. The Karu is loading timber for Patone and Miramar, and is to sail this morning. She returns next week to load timber for Miramar, Wellington, and Petone. The Kaimai is loading for Gisborne and Napier, and is to sail early this morning. The kartigi i's loading for Wellington, and is expected to sail to-day. The Poolta has been delayed at Auckland by fain and is now expected to leave there to-morrow with cargo fof Greymouth, ?via JPortland and Wellington, and is due here about the end of next week to load for return. The Alexander from Wellington is due early this morning. She will load coal, proceeding to Westport to-night to complete for Wanganui. The Waiinea ia due about to-morrow to load timber for Port Waikato. [ The Kaimiro is to leave Wellington to-morrow for Greymouth, to load for return on Monday. The Kauri left Bruce Bay yesterday for Melbourne and Adelaide, with timber. The Hokitika is due from Westport to-day, and upon discharge of her .Wellington cargo will proceed to Hokitika to load timber for Wellington.
