INFANTILE PARALYSIS

(Per Press Association.) OAMARU, March 3. Another positive case of infantile paralysis, a boy aged seven years, from the country (district, ovas admitted to the Oamaru Hospital last evening. The total of cases is now eleven.

Another definite case of infantile paralysis was admitted to Southland Hospital this morning, the patient being a girl aged 10, from the city, who shows slight definite paralysis. An observation ease, admitted yesterday, is still doubtful. INVERCARGILL, February 27. Two more eases of infantile paralysis were reported up till noon to-day—two boys, aged twelve and ten respectively. Both are positive eases. This brings the total now in hospital to sixteen CHRISTCHURCH, February 26. ’ Two further positive cases of infantile paralysis, both from th e Waimate County, were notified. Both are girls and are aged 18 months and '■ eight years respectively. ■ . Waimate High School Board has been advised by the Director of Education that the school is not to open until further notice—possibly March 8 The primary school committee has simL lar notice.
