Mesmgos from Beifl'n and Rome report th-i.‘ the German and Italian Governments have informed the British, French and Belgian representatives in thopc capitals oi their acceptance of invitations to a tend a Five Bower meeting, in orde - ' to neg<>ta'e a m w agreement, to take the place of the Rhine Pae* of Locarno, and to resolve, through the collaboration of all concerned, the situation created by the German initiative o March 7.
Tim German intimation of Hie acceptance of the invita ion has been communicated to the BriLsh Gove.jinient by the British Ambassador at Berlin, Sir E. Phipps.
