(Our Own Correspondent.) Air, Jesse Bartlett has received advice of the death of his brother, Mr. Murk Bartlett, which took place at. Craven Creek, New South Wales, last week. Deceased along with some mates located a very valuable reef some four years ago in the vicinity' of Craven Creek. Like many others who follow mining, he succumbed to miners’ phthisis. Sympathy is extended to the relatives in their bereavement. Airs. Beresford-Wilkinson, proprietress of the “Inangahua Herald,” Reefton, was a visitor to the township on Monday'. Air. There will be no pictures shown this evoning, owing to the hall (being engaged for a ’ball. The soccer team were defeated by Tavlorville last week-end by 3 goals tn 2 after an interesting game. The fixture for this week-end is AA’aiuta v. Marist, at Waiuta at 3 p.m.
