The Australian naval manoeuvres off the eoast ended to-day with the sinking of an out-of-date destroyer, the Auzac, which was used as a target, 20 miles off the Heads. The cruiser Canberra and the dotroyers Yarra, Waterhen and Vendetta took part in the tiring. Many direct hits were recorded from 15,000 and 13,000 yards. The Anzae dually heeled over and sank.
