TO VISIT ENGLAND Mr. Nash’s Big Mission (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 7. Important discussions shortly are to •take place between representatives of the New Zealand Government and the 'British Government, in relation to trade tigreemeuts between the two ' conn 1 l ies. The Minister of finance. Hon. Mr. Nash., is to leave for England as soon as the major liminciwl j>ropi>sa.ln m present, before Parliament; and the other tinanc’tal proposals still to be produced, have beem dealt with. Air. Nash’s object will be to discuss with the Home authorities the marketing of New Zealand produce in Britain. It is understood that Cabinet has )already given consideration to the proposal 'that Mr. Nash should proceod to England at the earliest opportunity. and that the opinion has been expressed that no better exponent of New Zealand’s requirements could be found than Mr. Nash.

No limit will be placed upon the time Mr. Nash is to spend in England, but the major consideration in connection with his visit is that the “tin uncial decks” shall be cleared in New Zealand before he leaves for home. A definite announcement that Rt. Hon. Al. J.
