For the purpose of curbing speculation, the Bank of France has suspend ed advances on gold bullion. U.S.A. SILVER STOCKS. WASHINGTON, June 11. Air Alorgenthau announced that the United States Treasury for the ten months ended May 31, acquired 421,497,000 ounces 'of silver, or 265,000,000 ounces more than the total world production during that period. The statement shows that tho Treasury is still more than two billion dollars short of the silver ration of 35/75 to gold, provided under the Silver Purchase Act. LONDON, June 11.
