SPIES IN GERMANY
17 ARRESTS. (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON. June 8. The “News-Chronicle’s” Berlin correspondent says: General Goering's secret police have arrested seventeen persons, of both sexes, including several aristocrats, and a former Major , of the German Army, on charges of Espionage. The arrests have followed further intensive investigation into the activities of tin* Pole. Count So nowski, cabled on February 18.
