INDIAN WOMEN’S THREAT. (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received Mav 28,. at 1T.15 p.m.) CALCUTTA, May 28. Becoming alarmed at. the threat of forty Sikh women that 'they will starve to death, as cabled on May 20th prominent Sikh leaders throughout india have appealed to the women’s leader to postpone their fast, on the promise that Sikh leaders will meet at Lahore and will endeavour to settle the differences in the community.
