(Our Own Correspondent.) Labour Party Meeting: WESTPORT. May The usual fortnightly meeting of the local branch of the New Zealand Labour Party was held la.-t evening. Mr W. 11. Woodcock presiding. Correspondence having been dealt with Mrs Ryan, delegate representing the branch at a. recent meeting of the L.R.C. held at Greymouth. submitted a report which has been published in tho '‘Argus.” Mrs Ryan was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for representing the branch at her own expense. A long discussion took place regarding a reference to the ‘‘Argus in the report, and action was held over until a visit to the district which it is understood will be made by Messrs O’Brien and Kent eventuates. The announced that a refund of 12s 6.1, representing c-;st of a telegram sent to Mr Webb in connection with dispute on aerodrome had boon refunded by the Unemployed Union) A sum of £1 was passed for payment for tuning of piano. Those who will be in attendance will include Rev. AV. A. Burley, M.A. (Nelson), the Rev. B. Dudley, F.R.A.S. (Richmond), the Rev. 11. Cochrane (Murchison), the Rev. R. Coonibridge (iGranity), the Rev. A. O. Harris (Grevmouth). the Rev. A. Carr (Hokitika), the Rev. W. C. Dickens (Reefton), and the Rev. N. P. Larsen.

Wrestling Bout Arranged: The Westport Wrestling Association has ararnged a match to take place in the Theatre Royal on Friday. Juno 7th, between Wade (America) and Al Pereira. Wade is due to arrive in New Zealand shortly.
