HOCKEY
REPRESENTATIVE TRIAL. GREY v. HOKITIKA. To select a. local side to play the combined Hokitika loams at Hokitika on Wednesday, a match was played at Cobden yesterday morning. Some bright hockey was witnessed and after the game, the -selectors announced the following team to meet Hokitika:— Goal: Adams (Mawhera). Full-backs; Lamberton (Pacific), Beckman ('Cobden). Halves: Vaughan (Technical), Per rin (M.), D. Knapp (St. Columba). Forwards: McHugh (St. Col.), Nel son and Devonport (M.), Sequin (P.), Eatwell (C.). Emergencies: Sloss (M.) back, and Weir (C.) forward. Any player unable to make the trip to Hokitika is rcouested to notify the Secretary immediately.
