At the meeting of the Nelson Land Board on Thursday, 9th May, there j were present: Mr. A. F. Waters, Com- 1 missioner of Crown Lands (chairman), and Messrs A. R. Edwards, J. O ’Regan, W. Blackadder and F. W. Gibbs. Lands to be opened: RL Sections 56 and 58, “Moutcre” Block XI, Motueka Survey District, area 102 acres.— Resolved to offer for sale by tender. Res. Section 8, Block IX, Wai-iti Survey District, area 46 acres 3 roods 24 perches.—Resolved to offer for selection on optional tenure at a capital value of £llO/10/-, with £147/10/- for improvements payable in cash. ER Sections 667, 668, tow j. of Reefton, area 24.4 perches.—Rcsol red to offer a lease for sale by public auction at an upset annual rental of £l. ER Section 684, town of Beetton, area 12.2 perches.—Resolved to offer a lease for sale by public auction at an upset annual rental of 18/-. PL. Part Section 54, Block IV, Kawatiri Survey District, area 73 acres 1 rood .06 perches. License subject to the Warden’s approval at an annual rental of £1 weighted with £6O for improvements. —Resolved to reoffer on Pastoral Regulation. MDLO. Application for Land.—RL 554, Section 86, Block IV, Oparara Survey District, area 386 acres 2 roods 29 perches., C. A. S. Simkin.—Approved subject to payment for improvements. Two acres unoccupied Crown land adjoining Section 38, Block XI, Mokihinui Survey District, R. J. Bradley.— Declined. DP 15 acres on sea short north of Section 6, Block I, Steep’es S.D., M. D. Duncan.—Granted an oe cupation license at an annual rental of £l.

Matakitaki Survey District, A. Scholefield.—Granted occupation license at rental of £l/10/-. PL. Sections 7 and Block XIV, Reefton Survey District, area 223 acres.—Resolved to cancel permit;

Archer.—Granted a timber license for twelve months. Area in Block VIII, Tadnior District, E. G. Sloss.—Application declined. Sec. 13, Block 111. Totaranui District, 30 acres, W. Delaney.—Resolved to cancel permit. Murchison County Council forwarded proposals for expenditure of thirds, etc., accrued to 31/3/35 amounting to £3l/7/6.~ A p p roved.
