EXTRA TRAINING. DEPOT OPENING. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, May 15. The Commissioner of Police, interviewed, said that steps were being tak en to increase the efficiency of the police force. The training depot was being renovated. It would be reopened in the next few weeks. Lectures were being given at the four centres by men at the height of their professions. Technical libraries were being established Additions wqre being made to the finger print branch of the service. Inqu ries were being made overseas as to the pot sibility of detectives being sent there for training. No definite decision has been reached.
