SOME DECREASES At Addington Sale (Our Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH. May 15. There were two thousasd fat lambs yarded. Quality was lacking. Freezing buyers were operating freely up to their schedule rates, while butch ers were securing the heavier lots. Best heavy lambs sold to 24s lOd; prime heavy 20s 6d to 235; medium lambs 14s to 17s 6d. There was a heavy yarding of mutton, the bulk comprising medium to plain sorts. Wethers were in short supply. Butchers’ weights wefre easier by from Is 6d to 2s per head. Medium weights were Is easier. Store lambs met with better competition, principally on account of continued mild weather. Best grades were firmer by 2s per head. Ewe lambs were firm. There was a slight increase in the entry of store sheep on last- week's lot, including Home better lines of ewes*.
