This morning, Winnie Higgs, 19 years of age, while engaged in cleaning an outer window opening on to a light well at the Oxford Tearooms, lost her foothold and fell through the glass skylight a distance of eighteen feet into the workshop of G. Wise, jeweller, on the ground floor. The girl was removed to hospital with bad cuts on the arms and body, and internal injuries. • In connection with the reorganisation of the railways staff, it is announced that Mr. G. -T. Wilson has been appointed Transport Superintendent, with headquarters at Wellington.
