FRENCH HOPES. PARTS May 10. The French liner ‘‘Normandie” has completed her speed trials. Her owners declare that they now arc perfectIv sure she can maintain an average speed of thirty knots an hour on the trans-Atlantic crossing, which will enable her to gain the blue riband of the Atlantic.
