BRUNNER NOTES
(Our Own Correspondent.) The following team will represent Brunner against Marist at Taylorville to-morrow at 2.30 p.m. —McDonald. Smich, Buckman, Wooster, Hughes, Hunt, Collins,, Ross, Creagh, Pryor, McCormick, Mills, Croft, King, McKenzie. Hunt. The following third grade team will represent.' Brunner against Marist at Wingham Park at 1.15 p-m-— Lee, Buckman, Glendinning, Wick. Barber, Hoggarth, Blance, Rowlands, Johansen, Sybes, Pearson. Meagher, Morgan. Emerg.—Cowan and Saunders.
A meeting of the Wallscnd miners was held at the mine on Tuesday evening. Mr A. McLagan (Secretary of the- National Council) and Mr Johnstone (representative on the National Council) were present, and Mi Johnstone gave a report of the last Council meeting, which way adopted as satisfactory. Mr McLagan gave a report of the wage conference, which the National Council held with the mine owners. The report wa s received as satisfactory, and a vote of thanks and confidence in Mr McLagan was carried, also a vote of thanks to Mr Johnstone.
Th© winners of the whist drive held in the Taylorville School on Wednesday evening were Mrs E. Dando Island Mrs T. Morgan 2nd.
