NEW RECORDS. (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) SYDNEY, April 25. One of the most interesting dog ex hibits at the Royal Show was provided by two Salukis sent to Sydney bv Mr J. F. B. Stevenson, of Wellington, New Zealand, who is said to be the only breeder in the southern hemisphere of these rare animals. Major Simcock (Vice-President of the Canine Judges’ Association) described them as two of the most beautiful dogs he had ever seen. The officials and exhibitors are agreed that the show, which ended on Wednesday was the most successful ever held at Sydney. Afore people attended, the standard of exhibits was higher, and the turn over was greater than ever before in the 113 years history of the show. During nine days “* 733,516 persons attended the show, which was 57,576 more than the previous record attendance in 1926, and 130,893 more than last, year.
