N.Z. AND N.S.W. LEGISLATION. (Received March 21 at 11.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 21. The Preirifer, Mr Stevens, announced in the Legislative Assembly to-day his intention to introduce a Mortgage Trust Investment Companies’ Bill, affecting certain companies whose activities recently were investigated by the Royal Commission here. The Premier stated that the Government was acting in conjunction with the New Zealand Government, which, ho understood, had introduced a similar measure simultaneously in the Dominion.
