The invitation on behalf of the poor of the district to those able to make donations of cash, clothing, ooots, and any other articles of use in the household which the St. Vincent de Paul Society advertises in another column is one prompted by the very accurate idea which the Society has of the needs of many people in the community. Next Wednesday gifts will be received by the Society at St. Columba Hall during the afternoon, when a very nice concert programme will be presented and all are invited, admission being free.
