Morgan’s Pictures Three comedians of totally different technique form perfect foils in the Gaumont British comedy, “It’s A Boy,” at the Victoria Theatre tonight and to-morrow night. Leslie Henson heads the cast as star of the picture, and his sparkling, subtle rapid, fire repartee contrasts strongly with the nervous, quiet drolleries of Edward Everett Horton, or the broad and obvious Yorkshire comedy of Albert Burdon. “It’s A Boy” will keep you laughing— it’s funnier than the old family album. Recommended by Censor for adults. Supports are Gaumont Graphic and Cinemagazine. WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY “Finishing School’’ is the R.K.O. Radio picture for screening Wednesday and Thursday, and matinee Thursday at Victoria Theatre. The story is that of an heiress who, through the indifference of her parents, is unsafely cloistered in a so-called fashionable “Finishing School,” and depicts a girl’s struggle for love, guidance and sympathy within a hall of snobbery. Frances Dee. Ginger Rogers, Bruce Cabot are leading players. Recommended by Censor for adulta.
