FLOOD DISASTER
5000 Casualties ON KOREAN MANCHU BORDER. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received August 20, at 7.10 p.m.) KALU, August 20. Heavy rains on the Manehu-Korean border have resulted in the Yalu River rising twenty feet. It lias destroyed many villages, and is threatening the city of Antung. The railway headquarters have dispatched relief parties from Darien, removing the population from the stricken area. Th n casualties are estimated a.t fivo thousand. There also have been seven hundred houses destroyed.
