Norman Handy iwas remanded nnt August 28th on the charge of Fhe +4 of jewels when a window was smashed yesterday. Bail was refused. KILLED BY LIGHTNING. , SYDNEY. August 19. During a. brief thunderstorm on Saturday afternoon, a man. who was apparently on his way to a football match, was killed bv lightning. An eye-witness states a flash of lightning struck the man 'on (he head, and ran down his body.
