The u ual Ingleside took place in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Friday night, and it was well attended. Songs were sur.g by Airs May Neilson, “My Ain Wee Hoose” and Air Russell Black. “Ben the Room,” both items meeting with hearty applause. A communication was received from the Runn&ga Society, .'dating that they intended to visit Blackball on the 24 th August, if the date were suitable to the local people. It was agreed to write and fix that date for the visit, the Blackball Caltedonian Society Pipe Band to be requested fo greet the visitors. A delightful hand-round tea was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Dancing was carried on to the wee sma’ hours. Mr Alex Bowk-ett was. elected to the committee.
