(Our Own Correspondent.) Miss M. Grant-Fargie, who has been spending a holid-av here, is visiting Harihari. Mr ami Mrs J. Greengrass, are spending a holiday touring the North Island. Mr A. Gill, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned, Mr W. Hynes is spending a holiday in t lip Waipuna district, as tl.e guest • t Ai r Harry Tat ley. Airs B. Phare, who has been spending a holiday here, has returned to Auckland. Mr E. Kerridge is spending a few days in Picton. Airs V Lewis is making satisfactory progress at the Reefton Hospital, Miss E. Lines, who is an inmate of the Repitou Hospital, is making good progress. Mrs Bar.ford, of Auckland, is spending a holiday here as the guest of her daughter, Mrs I. H. J. Logan. Aliss K, Kennedy, of Blackwater, spent n few days here during the week. Mrs Sivison, of Wolliugton, is spending a holiday at Blackwater as the guests of Airs J McNamara. Playing in the Clarkson Cup competilion on Sunday, North scored a twopoint win over Central. North declared with 6 for 189, P, O’Donnell (79 not out), V. Loth wick (54), J Young 5 fo r 29. Central were all out for 91. During the week-end Reel ton and Waiuta play at Waittia in the Foster Cup competition. Th? following will represent life local club:- —P. O’Donnell, V. Undergoing a thorough preparation. “Toney” will probably have the “liver’’ when the worsted is breasted. The presence of a large and representative gathering is anticipated.
