RIFLE SHOOTING
GREY DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. The first competition for the VicePresident’s trophy was concluded yesterday. The Wednesday men, after having good conditions at the 300 and 500 yards, had the bad luck to strike the rain at 600 yards, and only registered low scores. President G. Joyce got on top score with 95. The following are the leading scores, conditions being seven shots at 300, 500 and 600 yards:—
