The Secretary was instructed to advise the Canterbury Surf Life Saving Association that #’or the demonstration day on February 25th, at Greymouth, the rules of the Association would be. conformed with. It was decided to thank the Canterbury Association for its donation of a belt for competition between the AVest Coast teams. AVestport, Runanga Hokitika and Greymouth. It was decided that the Greymouth Swimming Club bo thanked for its offer of chib rooms, but as it was so late in the season the Club was unable to take them over. The Secretary was instructed to advise West Coast Clubs that Canterbury teams would compete at the demonstration under their own rules, and AVest Coast teams under N.Z. Council rules. It i was decided to write to the various local bodies, with regard to the annual donations. Air F. AV. Gilbert was unanimously appointed to the, position of beach inspector, pap and badge to bp provided by the Chib. The offer of the use of the Blaketown Gymnasium .for the demonstration on February 25 was accepted.
